The Foundation for Seaside Schools was established to support the mission of providing a high quality public education alternative to students in Duval County.  

Seaside Consortium is a member of the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education  and the Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools .

Our Vision

​At Seaside Community Charter School, our vision is to foster each student's intellectual, social, emotional and physical development in a nurturing, arts and science-infused setting that inspires deep learning, a sense of environmental stewardship, and an appreciation for all cultures, the arts, and the ever-changing world.

Our Mission

  • To provide a joyful, compassionate and creative natural environment for learning
  • To provide a rigorous curriculum taught through excellent, well-planned teaching that results in deep learning
  • To nurture students' creative and critical thinking and their artistic expression
  • To nurture students' environmental stewardship and civic responsibility
